Non ferrous scrap treatment mobile units (GMENG)

GMENG Mobile Power Units on tracks are a stand-alone equipments, fully autonomous, that only needs diesel to be added to operate.

GMENG Mobile Power Units mainly consists of the following elements:

• Metallic frame
• Engine (diesel) (*): 1200 HP - 2000 HP (**)
• Reducer (gearbox)
• Hydraulic clutch
• Driveshaft (cardan shaft)

This kind of modern layout drive has three main advantages compared to a drive without open hydraulic clutch:

• Protects the motor and the reducer from overload
• Achieves softer motor start
• Reduces the over costs due to consumption peaks
